At Uttam Energy Solutions LLP, we understand that purchasing batteries and electronic components is an investment in your vehicle, solar setup, or project. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’re here to make it right. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can receive a refund for products purchased through uttamenergysolutions.com.
1. When Are You Eligible for a Refund?
You may be eligible for a refund in the following scenarios:
A. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged during transit, or significantly different from what was described on our website, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. Please report such issues within 48 hours of delivery.
B. Wrong Product Delivered
If we shipped the wrong product (different model, specification, or category), you are entitled to a full refund or exchange at no additional cost.
C. Order Cancellation (Before Dispatch)
If you cancel your order before it has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
D. Non-Delivery
If your order is not delivered within 15 business days of the estimated delivery date and we are unable to provide a resolution, you are eligible for a full refund.
2. Refund Process
Step 1: Initiate a Refund Request
Contact our support team at support@uttamenergysolutions.com or call +91-7942872618 within the applicable timeframe. Please include your Order ID, reason for refund, and supporting photographs/videos (for damaged or defective items).
Step 2: Verification
Our team will review your request and may ask for additional information. For defective products, we may request that the item be shipped back to our Noida facility for inspection.
Step 3: Approval & Processing
Once approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase.
Step 4: Refund Timeline
UPI / Wallets: 1–3 business days
Net Banking: 3–5 business days
Credit/Debit Cards: 5–7 business days (may take up to 10 days depending on your bank)
EMI transactions: Refund timeline depends on the bank’s EMI reversal process
3. When Refunds Are NOT Applicable
To be transparent, refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
Change of mind after delivery (buyer’s remorse) for battery packs and cells, as these are sensitive electronic components
Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or unauthorised modifications after delivery
Products where the original packaging, seals, or labels have been tampered with
Claims raised after the applicable refund window (48 hours for damage/defect; before dispatch for cancellations)
Products purchased during clearance sales or marked as non-returnable on the product page
Bulk/custom orders manufactured to specific requirements
4. Partial Refunds
In certain situations, we may offer a partial refund:
Product received with minor cosmetic damage that does not affect performance (e.g., dented casing but fully functional battery)
Product returned in a condition different from what was received (missing accessories, damaged packaging)
Delayed refund requests that are beyond the standard window but within a reasonable timeframe
5. Shipping Costs for Refunds
If the refund is due to our error (wrong product, defective item, or damage in transit), we will bear the full return shipping cost.
If the refund request is for any other reason, the return shipping cost will be borne by the customer.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the refund is due to our error.
6. Razorpay Refund Processing
All refunds are processed through Razorpay’s secure refund system. Once we initiate the refund, Razorpay handles the reversal to your original payment method. You will receive a refund confirmation email with the transaction reference number.
