The result fits battery compartments designed for broader, flatter packs.
Twelve ampere-hours on 48V delivers 576 watt-hours. For e-cycle applications, this translates to brisk, efficient commutes of 15 to 25 km. The higher voltage means the motor operates in its most efficient speed range, extracting more kilometres per watt-hour than the same motor would on a lower voltage platform.
